Actrice de Kieslowski, Antonioni, Auster, Angelopoulos, Nossiter, Patrice Leconte... Irène Jacob a un lien particulier avec la musique, celle-ci l'accompagne depuis toujours à l’écran et sur les planches. Depuis quelques années, elle enregistre et se produit avec Vincent Delerm, Ricardo Tété, L'Orchestre National de Jazz, etc…
Depuis la rentrée Iréne Jacob, s'est naturellement associée à son frère compositeur et musicien Francis Jacob, pour créer le duo
IF (IRENE ET FRANCIS).
