Under The Milky Way is proud to present the digital release of two French comedies.
First, Love at First Child starring Isabelle Carré (21 Nights with Pattie, Breathe, Romantics Anonymous), and Patrick Bruel (What’s in a Name? A Secret), follows Gabrielle, a single mother whose 17-year old daughter Claire is pregnant and the child’s father, Simon has no desire to be involved with his future baby. Gabrielle decides to take matter into her own hands and asks Simon’s father, Ange (Patrick Bruel) for help. An unexpected relationship begins.
Second, One Man and his Cow, starring Lambert Wilson (Of Gods and Men, Bicycling with Molière) and Jamel Debouzze (Angel-A, Amélie) tells the story of Fatah, a humble Algerian farmer who only has eyes for his cow Jacqueline. He decides to take his cow to the Agricultural Show in Paris. He takes the ferry to Marseilles, and crosse the whole country by foot. Both Jacqueline and Fatah will make surprising encounters along the way.
