New dual-language program considered in a public school downtown Manhattan

Dear all,
We are Hélène and Marion. We both have children who are currently enrolled in La Petite Ecole and will be entering grade school in September 2014 and 2015.
We became interested in dual language education after learning about it from La Petite Ecole’s director, Virgil de Voldere.
After attending the French Embassy dual language forum in January 2013, we wanted to bring the dual language education movement to downtown Manhattan, where no such program exists for public school students.
We are working together to create this program as early September 2013.

Please, fell free to contact us if you want more informations about this program : dlp.downtown@gmail.com

And Please take the time to fill out the DLP Parent interest form below:
Merci et à bientôt !

Hi,

Sounds like a great initiative. My older son is 3 and 1/2, so I would definitely be interested.

However, it might be a little far from where I live (W 58th Street; District 2).

Do you have more details about the location and district #?

Thanks a lot,

Hanna

We don't have the school yet but if you are district 2, please
take the time to fill out the DLP Parent interest form below.
Thanks !

Bravo Hèlène et Marion! Continuez l'effort et bon courage!

Sophie

Any of these dual programs in queens for toddlers. It seems that everything is in manhattan and Brooklyn.
Please help.
Mon fils a 18 mois et il va à FIAF mais j'aurais bien aimé quelque chose de plus près à queens.
Merci.
Martine.
