Overview Program: The Boerum Hill School for International Studies, an International Baccalaureate World School, aims to create a better and more peaceful world through the study of language - to celebrate and understand cultural perspectives and empower our future leaders to develop innovative solutions that impact the world. Our focus is to enhance student French proficiency and experience of language by meeting students where they are, whether they are beginners or fluent.  An increase in their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills will build a community of bilingual /biliterate/bicultural students who will gain the necessary tools to solve world problems and compete in a global society.

Dual French Position Description: We are looking for a French Teacher to be a co-collaborator/teacher in our Middle School (grades 6-7) Science classes who will work with their colleagues to embed French language into the curriculum and co-teach daily lesson plans and share other teaching responsibilities with their co-teachers. We are looking for someone who is fluent and bilingual in French and English. Candidates should have a passion or educational degree in an additional content area, like History or Science, have a global perspective and see the importance of language as a tool, to communicate and unite people and cultures around the world. We are looking for an educator who is:
