Dear all members of "New York in French", my name is Aurélien CHAPOLARD and I'm a US History teacher in the International Section of the Lycée Robert de Luzarches, Amiens, Picardie, France.

I'm sending this message because we are looking for a high school to host a class of French students in September 2016.
Our school in France has a regular exchange every year for the 11 graders. But because of the terrorist attacks in Paris in November 2015, all schools in France received the national order to cancel trips that were organized
because of the state of emergency and of the international context. And so most regrettably  we had to cancel our trip to the USA this year.

We are now looking for a solution to bring a class of 26 eleventh graders in the USA in September 2016.
So, here is my question: I'm looking for a school that would be able to welcome a group of 26 French students (all well-behaved and good in English) + two teachers for 2 weeks in September 2016. The goal of the program is to have students hosted in families and follow classes with their American students. I was wondering if you might know school principals or teachers that would be interested. We could have Facebook or Skype contacts before and after the trip. And we would be very flexible about the organization. You can contact me aurelien.chapolard@ac-amiens.fr or send me a message through Facebook.

Thank you very much for your kind help.

Best regards
 Aurélien CHAPOLARD
