My daughter is 5, and spent the first half of the school year in a French immersion kindergarten in Toronto (we're not native French speakers, so she is a beginner). We're now spending the winter and spring here in New York, and we need to keep exposing her to French so she doesn't fall too far behind when we go back.
We're looking for someone to pick her up from school at 2:40 in Prospect Heights in Brooklyn, and hang out with her, speaking French exclusively, until 5pm, one or two days a week (probably Monday and Tuesday, or Tuesday and Thursday). We want to make it fun for her--this isn't a tutoring job, we just want someone who loves kids, and can take her on outings and other fun things after school while also exposing her to French.
We are also interested in hiring someone for occasional babysitting at other times, such as evenings and weekends.
Compensation is $40 per afternoon, and $15/hour for the occasional sitting.
