Summer Fun with a French accent!
Enjoy the dazzling offerings of this French Summer Camp in New York City with all of its creative and educational activities.
Give your child the extraordinary gift of a non-stop, all day, absolute true immersion in the French language and culture, without leaving New York City. Children not only will speak French, they will also sing in French, act in French, create stories in French with a constant support in pronunciation, grammar and conjugation from our team. Through the use of fun and hands-on activities, children learn the language quickly without realizing they are learning. This model of learning has been proven efficient over the years with the children attending our BLEU BLANC ROUGE summer camp since it was created in 2010. Our team is professional and passionate. More than being teachers, our professionals include educators, artists and instructors with a drive for communicating their enthusiasm for the French language and the arts to the children.
Each week of the BLEU BLANC ROUGE summer camp is organized around a theme with innovative, entertaining and collaborative activities involving painting, drawing, singing, acting, arts and crafts, music, film, photography, storytelling, architecture, science, nature and environment, dancing, team sports, games, cooking and more.
Your children will also go on adventurous field trips and special cultural events to some of New York’s most famous attractions: a bakery to learn macaroon making, a visit to Keyser to discover how to make bread, some golf and other games at Governor's Island in the beautiful surroundings of the historic island and so on. We will also celebrate Bastille day with a show, songs and treats cooked by our talented little campers!
At BLEU BLANC ROUGE children will develop their artistic ability, while practicing and learning French with native French instructors in a safe and stimulating environment.
BLEU BLANC ROUGE also offer the possibility for children to take swimming lessons and initiation to tennis playing after the camp. Please ask us for more information. This amazing program is designed for children ages 3 to 8 years old. Classes are kept small and children are grouped according to age and ability to better encourage creativity and interactivity with each other. We enroll children who are immersed in a francophone family, or in families that encourage French language and culture.
