Greetings Salute,
When different countries around the world remained silent concerning the Furguson and
Staten Island incidents, terrorists knew that those countries weren't serious about confronting
attacks. France said nothing and France got hit. Americans wore Je Suis Charlie buttons.
Where were the I can't breathe tee shirts in France? Unification behind issues of violence
is required by more than one community. Policies and strategy are on call.
France is an older country that ended slavery before the US. France sent the US the
Statue of Liberty over as a Black woman celebrating the end of slavery in America. As a
Civil/Human Rightest, I ask the French what is your position of King's Seven Steps to
Non-Violence. Was there mention of King and his team members present in the Frence media during
January.
Thus I invite France and the rest of the world to
1) Enter the King Center.org
2) Study for what did King study Ghandism when in India
3) Read President's Obama's proclamation on the King Holiday. Go to White House gov.
4) Observed Black History Month.
As an African American woman who lived in Paris for a year, I was treated so well by
the Parisians, I had to engage one in a conversation on why. He said it was the war. So
I invite communities global-wide to construct steps in ending this and showing that we are
serious and committed.
