Head Teacher; Lower School French immersion; SLA, Brooklyn

Full-time classroom teacher at a Brooklyn independent school.

Must have native fluency in French.

School has a strong emphasis on arts and science. Children learn through discovery, hands-on projects, and play.

REQUIRED:

* NATIVE FLUENCY IN FRENCH

* Experience with children between ages 4 and 8

STRONG PLUS:

* Experience teaching mixed levels in an immersion environment

* Experience with progressive teaching methods (whole-child, Montessori, Freinet, Reggio, etc.)

* Background in science and/or the arts

NO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Salary commensurate with experience.
