Hello my name is John. My family has been fortunate enough to have found Marielle and I am sad to say due to the loss of a job in the family I can no longer afford to pay a Nanny. It’s sad because she has become part of the family .

                In one aspect I am excited and a bit nervous to take on the role of Mr. mom, on the other hand I am devastated that I have to let this beautiful , sweet,  loving person go. Marielle who has become a part of my families life for the past 5 years and is fluent in French and English. She has handled kids from newborn all the way up to five years old . 

 

If there is anyone out there who is looking for a Nanny that fits this description or has further questions please respond.

Votre annonce me plait beaucoup et j'espère vraiment que vous êtes toujours a la recherche d'une nanny.

 

Vous êtes une des rares personnes me semble t-il qui recherche une nanny qui aime les enfants et les emmène aux parc. On pourrait penser que cela est naturel mais en fait très rare.

 

Je suis de nationalité française, née en France ou j'ai été une nanny pendant les quinze dernières années, j'ai deux grands enfants qui vivent a Park Slope.

 

Je cherche une famille avec laquelle je resterai plusieurs années, j'aime voir grandir les enfants dont je prends soin et je finis par les aimer comme les miens.

Le développement de l'enfant et sa stabilité et en effet très important des ses premiers mois.

 

Le meilleur moyen de me décrire est de vous écrire mon expérience avec la dernière petite fille dont je me suis occupée.

Bien sur je vous joins ma lettre de motivation et vous joindrai mon CV a votre demande.

 

La petite fille dont j'ai pris soin depuis ses 2 mois a maintenant 4 ans,  elle ira a l'école en septembre et je dois donc a mon grand regret m'en séparer.

Cette petite qui a deux parents étrangers, un père finlandais et une mère indienne, parle un français et un anglais parfaits.

 

Je suis attentive: je veille a son bien être tout en suivant les conseils de sa maman.

Je suis calme, douce et très patiente. Souvent je la prends dans mes bras et lui donne beaucoup d'amour.

 

Depuis ses deux mois je fais de longues promenades au parc tous les jours.

Plus tard on joue dans l'herbe, elle découvre les brindilles , les pâquerettes et on regarde les arbres a l'envers.

Plus tard encore on regarde chaque arbre, chaque fleur, le moineau qui vient manger une miette dans la main….

Elle me montre les crocus qui avaient perce avant le printemps, je ne l'ai avais même pas remarques,  elle n'avait que 1 an et demi.

On collectionne tout : les feuilles, les cailloux, les marrons et les bambous. Nous jouons alors avec d'autres enfants et elle partage ses trésors.

 

A l'âge de 2 ans nous avons déjà passe beaucoup de temps a explorer les jeux et nous sommes en contact avec les autres enfants. C'est une autre découverte.

Elle passe ses vacances chez ses grands parents a Toronto et elle me demande de lui montrer sur la carte du monde ses origines, ou elle va et d'ou elle vient, elle est curieuse et nous apprenons toujours a travers le jeu.

Je lui parle beaucoup depuis son plus jeune âge, très vite je lui ai fait découvrir les choses qui l'entourent.

 

Apres tant de temps passe auprès des enfants c'est toujours impressionnant de les voir découvrir les choses.

Elle m'étonne sans cesse et me fait rire. Les enfants nous donne tant d'amour.

They truly feel your love, which they give back, and so much more!

I am always interested in them and provide the children I take care off with rich experiences: creating a healthy social network, playing at the park, reading to the children daily, using their toys constructively, teaching them drawing, numbers, doing art and craft…

The last little girl I have been taking care off has been speaking both a perfect french and english since she was two years old, I talk to them about daddy, and mommy and when they start telling their names it is a great feeling.

I am there all the way to help them become happy and well adjusted.

While communicating in every occasion I am always looking out for their safety and well -being.

I cook for them fresh vegetables if the parents want me to, and prepare some ahead for the parents to have.

I am a nanny because I find that it is simply extraordinary to see children evolve and start to understand life.

Even so young you can see they are looking at everything trying to understand.

The best is to see their surprise, their expression when looking at things and most important what extraordinary person they are becoming.

Being used to take care of children, I can help them at any moment.

I am generous in general, and always in a good mood.

I am a very patient person, serious but sweet and optimistic. I find that when they feel we are happy they also are.

I care to take my full responsibilities on the work I am doing; I am aware of their fragility and that they entirely depend on us.

Even though I always end up loving them as if they were my own I always respect what education parents want me to give them.

It is really hard to leave a kid after such a long time but they do grow up and go off to school at a point in time
