1 week English language learning for visiting French teen?

Hello all I am writing on behalf of a friend who is looking for an English language program in New York suitable for a French teen who will be visiting New York for 1 week in March.Originally, the teen was to attend classes with a penpal at a public school in Queens, but after weeks of consideration, the school's lawyer has nixed the idea.
