I'm a laid-back guy, a young physician but surfer at heart. A couple of years ago, I embarked on a journey to become a polyglot. Six languages later, I'm just as excited as during my first conversation in French.
I enjoy having an meaningful conversation over a glass of wine. I'm a very active person who likes to stay fit. What else... An open-minded person, a true free spirit. Loves to travel. Is ready after a swim in the ocean, not after spending hours on hair/primping. Has a genuine interest in different cultures, people, and languages. Is well-rounded but not arrogant or pretentious. Is sophisticated, yet not condescending or superficial.
In the third and final part of our series on bilingualism, Fabrice Jaumont, education specialist and author of The Bilingual Revolution: The Future of Education is in Two Languages, looks at the future of French-English dual-language classes in New York.Save
