Chers Amis,
It's my honor to invite you to a very exciting and important event this week. Please take a moment to read on:

See: www.canusa.org

This thursday, you will have the opportunity to support the ARTISTS of Haiti while enjoying a stupendous cocktail and cultural event catered by Krik Krak - my favorite Haitian restaurant in New York, run by my dear friend Maude Pamphile.

The theme of the event is "artists helping artists". We are working to raise direly need supplies for artists in Haiti. Artists have the power to create a new beginning for Haiti. We want to show them our support so they will continue to find inspiration.

While the United States with all its resources continues to undervalue the arts, lets support artists in Haiti an in so doing, make the statement that now, always and everywhere, ART IS VITAL. ART IS A PRIORITY.

Your donation will say loudly and clearly that you believe that art is crucial even, and especially at a time of national catastrophe.

Please come, invite your friends, make a donation of money or *art supplies*

*Friends, I know that many of you are artists yourselves and you often feel that you struggle to make ends meet. Still, lets try to dig in our pockets and give what we can to help artists who may be struggling even more than we are at this time. In my experience, the gifts that we give will come back to us in feelings of abundance and renewed creativity.
