Le Quatorze juillet 2012, “Bastille Day”, is around the corner, and what better way to celebrate in style than at New York’s Official Bastille Day Ball?  This is the major annual event organized by the Committee of French Speaking Societies, Inc. which, now in its 89th year, boasts a membership of 66 French/Francophone associations and an all-volunteer Board.

The Ball will take place on Thursday, July 12th, under the Patronage of His Excellency Francois Delattre, Ambassador of France to the United States, His Excellency Gerard Araud, Permanent Representative of France to the U.N. and The Honorable Philippe Lalliot, Consul General of France in New York.

The Ball will be held at the “404”, located at 404 10th Avenue near 33rd Street, from 7:30 PM to 1:00 AM.  It will be an authentic French event featuring dancing to a live French band, a French DJ and hors d’œuvres. VIP-level ticket holders and Sponsors will enjoy a dedicated private lounge with a full dinner menu and an open bar till 10:30PM.

This year we will also feature a Special Clo-Clo (Claude Francois) Show.

The Committee’s Bastille Day Ball has become the major annual French community event in the Tri-State area and attracts over 1,000 guests. Come join the fun!
