Benjamin Millepied, a principal dancer at New York City Ballet and a choreographer of international reputation,

and  

 

Jean-Francois Dubos, Senior Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Vivendi,

 

at a Gala Benefit on Thursday, May 5.

 

Mr. Dubos and Mr. Millepied will receive the Medal of Honor of the Center for French Civilization and Culture of New York University.

This Gala Benefit, held to raise funds for its program of lectures, conferences, symposia, art exhibits, films, concerts, theater, and special events, will take place in the penthouse of NYU's Kimmel Center (60 Washington South), beginning with a champagne reception at 6:30 p.m. Dinner and presentations will proceed at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Millepied will speak about his recent choreographic work.

Honorary patrons of the event include H.E. Ambassador François Delattre; French Consul General Philippe Lalliot; Cultural Counselor of the French Embassy Antonin Baudry, and NYU's President, John Sexton.


Tickets are $750. ($600 tax deductible) or $1000. ($850 tax deductible). Seating is limited.
