Bonjour! I am a Bilingual French and English teacher and tutor looking for summer students.I have five years of experience in the traditional classroom setting, as well as experience outside the classroom with small play-group second language lessons and one-on-one tutoring in various subjects.I taught a self-contained first grade class in French and English for four years. This year, I taught two second grade French classes with my partner English teacher. My classes have always been half Francophones who speak French at home and half Anglophones, who do not speak French at home. I therefore have experience with learners of both languages. I have also privately tutored small groups of beginner French language learners in their own homes. This tutoring was in a less academic setting, which included games, songs, and activities, through a language tutoring company called Brooklyn Beanstalk.
