Hope to see you all on Wednesday, March 31, 6:30 p.m., free !

Contemporary Haitian Playwrights: an Evening of Solidarity and Support

With 4 author-performers who arrive especially from Haiti:
Coutechève Aupont
Dominique Batraville
Duckens Charitable
Guy Junior Régis

Also on the program, the New York-based artist, MichèleVoltaire Marcelin and, as MC, Jean-Dany Joachim, the current Poet Populist of Cambridge as well as the organizer of the City Night Readings series.

The links above take you to presentations of each of these writers and artists on the web site Île en île, where you will also find, for example, a brilliant video interview with Dominique Batraville, and an audio recording of Guy Régis.

It's been a nightmare to get visas for them, as the U.S. Embassy has not been issuing visas to Haitians since the earthquake. So please join us for this special occasion!

Information online at the Segal Theatre Centre web site:

(La soirée sera principalement en français avec certes du créole, anglais et espagnol, mais il y aura des traductions pour les anglophones.)
