VISIT FROM FRANCINE COUSTEAU AT EINY
EINY students who participated in last year's baby marine animal drawing contest had the honor of welcoming Francine Cousteau, widow of naval officer Jacques Yves Cousteau, and her team, to the EINY library on Wednesday, May 24.
Ms. Cousteau personally thanked the student artists whose drawings were published in the Spring 2016 edition of the magazine Cousteau Kids. She was interviewed by middle school students from the EINY radio club, and the event was also covered by French Morning.
With this event, EINY showed its continued commitment to the protection of endangered species, to the protection of the environment, and to its goal of becoming a "green" school.l.
