March brings a hint of spring with Papillon Night, hosted by French Culture Nights.
Singer Marie Martin, a native of Brittany, will help us float into warmer weather on Wednesday, March 24. The evening includes an exhibit of contemporary prints and a preview of French cinema, and closes with live dancing.
French Culture Nights offer a monthly opportunity to experience live music and fine art along with others who share a vibrant interest in French culture.
Papillon Night -- named after the elusive butterfly of spring -- will be held at The Imperial (17 West 19th Street) starting at 6 pm.
Admission is free if you pre-register online at FrenchCultureNights.com, otherwise it's $10 at the door. Admission includes a free copy of the COOL Guide to French Culture.
