A large retrospective devoted to Robert Bresson kicks off at Film Forum on January 6 through January 26. This is the first North American Retrospective of Bresson's works in fourteen years.

MyFrenchFilmFestival.com
Online festival

MyFrenchFilmFestival.com is an innovative concept to let you discover young French creation and allow you to share your love of French cinema with Internet users across the globe. You will be able to watch these films:
- online on myfrenchfilmfestival.com and on Dailymotion
- on VOD on cable television for Comcast subscribers, thanks to an agreement with SnagFilms.

The festival will take place from January 12 to February 1.

The selection includes the following features, as well as many shorts to be discovered online:

Cycle First Look

@ MoMI

To start the New Year, the Museum introduces a brand-new showcase for inventive, groundbreaking international cinema. Modest in size but ambitious in scope, First Look is a highly selective group of films that are distinguished by their artistic audacity. Established and emerging directors create new approaches to narrative, documentary, and experimental film, in many cases creating hybrid forms.

The festival will take place from January 6-15.

Jacques Perrin:Renaissance Man
@ French Institute Alliance Française

FIAF is honored to present a month of films dedicated to Jacques Perrin, an actor of great renown who has also been a successful producer, narrator, and director. Renaissance Man will shed light on the many roles Perrin, an Oscar nominee and César Award winner, has occupied.

A political fairy tale that exists somewhere between the reality of contemporary France and the classic cinema of Jean-Pierre Melville and Marcel Carné.
