The Haitian Cultural Foundation, of which I am a board member, is looking for a generous soul or souls who'd be willing to take on the task of producing a draft grant proposal in the next weeks. The foundation is currently endeavoring to secure funding for In the Eye of the Spiral (http://vimeo.com/39908780), a documentary film on Haitian artists centered around the inimitable Frankétienne. It is partially complete and has, thus far, been extremely well received. There remains, however, much to be done. We are in the phase of seeking grant monies from such institutions as the NEH and the Motion Picture Association, among other sources, and so are in urgent need of help with the grant-writing process.
