We, the members of the Caribbean Association for Females inEntertainment (CAFÉ ), believe that our success and impact in theentertainment industry and our Caribbean community depends on our unity– as women, as artists, as visionaries. The recent tragic naturaldisaster in Haiti has reminded us how profoundly connected we are asCaribbean descendants and global citizens.

So on MAY 17, 2010, we will present the première performance of:
KI JAN POU’N GERI? (How Do We Heal?) - a collection of powerful andpoignant monolouges featuring the work of Cassandra Medley, MicheléVoltaire Marcelin, Naveen Bahar Choudhury, Magaly Colimon-Christopher,Nehanda Loiseau, France-Luce Benson, and more.

ALL proceeds will go to PARTNERS IN HEALTH (Zanmi Lasante) in Haiti.

The primary mission of Partners In Health (PIH) is to bring modernmedical care to poor communities in 12 countries around the world. Thework of PIH has three goals: to care for patients, to alleviate theroot causes of disease in their communities, and to share lessonslearned around the world.

Zanmi Lasante (Partners In Health in Kreyol) is PIH’S flagship project– the oldest, largest, most ambitious, and most replicated. ZanmiLasante has been working on the ground in Haiti for over 20 years. Nowmore the ever, support is urgently needed to help those affected by therecent earthquake. TICKETS are $25 per person.

THE FIRST SEVENTY (70) TICKETS PURCHASED WILL INCLUDE A PASS TO A SPECIAL VIP POST-SHOW RECEPTION.

Immediately following the performance, we will raffle off fabulous doorprizes. Raffle tickets are $2 each OR $5 for 3 - and may be purchasedat the door.
