French Classes in Brooklyn. Mais Oui!
Idlewild is now giving their first French, Spanish and Italian classes in a beautiful new space in Cobble Hill. French classes are divided into 4 levels: beginner, advanced beginner, intermediate and advanced.
With the first 2 levels you will get the basics of the language to get you talking as soon as possible. It is also a good place to start if you haven’t taken any French courses in a long time or if you’re rusty. It is a great review and moves quite quickly.
Native French teachers incorporate basic grammar and vocabulary, real-life situations and plenty of speaking time into each session.

Already have a pretty good background in French but need some extra help communicating? Then you’re ready for our intermediate class. But get ready to mix things up a bit. You won’t find any textbook in this course! The intermediate class uses comics like Tintin and the beloved classic Le Petit Prince to get you thinking and speaking French while having fun.
When you become an advanced student, get ready to delve into crime and mystery as you follow the famous “Commissaire Maigret” on one of his murder investigations. In this course you will further your comprehension and oral communication skills while reading exciting and popular novels.
So will you join us on this new adventure? We look forward to seeing you! Places are filling up fast but there is still space as winter classes in French, Spanish and Italian begin from Feb 7th to Feb 13th.
