 Dr. Marjorie Baptiste earned her dental degree (D.M.D) at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, receiving the Northeastern Society of Periodontists Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Periodontics.  She completed her specialty training in Periodontology at Tufts and graduated in the top 10 percent of her class. Over the past decades, she successfully performed numerous gum surgeries and implants. 

She recently served as a guest lecturer at the Yankee Dental Convention in Boston and was also selected as the guest speaker for the Boston Periodontics Residents meeting held at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She presented her research topic on periodontal plastic surgery in the lingual aspect of the mandibular anterior dentition.

Dr. Baptiste has served the public by organizing humanitarian mission trips to Haiti with Tufts faculty members and dental students. She has recently been nominated Chairman of her 501(c) 3 non-profit organization Suzanne and Leon O. Baptiste Foundation based in New York.

Dr. Baptiste is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association.
