Under the aegis of talented Frédéric Yvelin and Nathalie Roussel, both founders and conductors of the event, this year's theme, "monster", got students from elementary to high school levels to create unique skits and stage performances putting their classes and talent under the limelight, and through fierce, yet friendly, competition.

Among the many schools represented last Saturday, no fewer than 5 high schools part of the French Heritage Language Program had the chance to defend their colors on stage. This year again, FHLP students did not fail their excellent acting reputation. They surpassed themselves and returned home with a whopping 3 best awards, including:

Prix d'interprétation féminine (best actress): Assimao Metchiou, International Community High School, Bronx
