FluentBrooklyn offers French, Spanish, Italian, German & Arabic classes designed for New Yorkers with busy schedules who want to focus on learning to speak another language. All FluentBrooklyn professors are fun, passionate and really good at what they do in a relaxed and casual learning environment. We need teachers at both our Williamsburg and Manhattan locations.
We usually have teachers that are NOT native speakers teaching lower level classes as our theory is that someone who has gone through the experience of learning the language themselves can explain it better to students. Native speakers teach higher-level classes to help students perfect language skills. We are currently looking for excited and smart French and Spanish teachers for Monday-Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon classes and potentially weekday morning and afternoon private lessons. Hourly pay rate will vary per assignment between $25-$35. Each position will be range from 5-30 hours per week with more as we grow.

While teaching experience is ideal, it is not required but incredible teaching instincts are! Those who have never taught before but believe they would be an incredible teacher are welcome to apply if you can explain why you think you'd be a good one.
