3438642775?profile=originalPS 110, located in historic Greenpoint, Brooklyn is seeking a qualified French bilingual teacher to teach 2nd grade during the 2013-2014 school year. We are looking for the right candidate to join the dedicated and experienced staff of PS 110 as it grows its French department each year.

PS 110 is honored to be the recipient of the NYS ACSD Educating the Whole Child for the 21st Century Award. Through a cooperative and nurturing staff, PS 110 grows hearts and minds. 

Committed to educating the whole child, all students at PS 110 receive Common Core Standards academic instruction, nutrition, computer, Italian, play, enrichment and character education in small class settings. Students receive visual art and music instruction throughout the year in addition to supplemental art residencies such as Flamenco, Mark Morris Movement, Drumming, Musical Theatre, Ballroom Dance, and Shakespeare. 

The French Dual Language Program currently is comprised of two classes - a Kindergarten and a 1st grade class. The program was initiated in the Fall of 2011 as a result of  the support, dedication and hard work of PS 110 administration, key parents and the French Embassy. French Dual Language classes are instructed in French in the mornings and in English in the afternoons. Both anglophone and francophone students are progressing well in their studies and development of French. All classes participate in all school programs and are part of our close-knit learning community.  Our doors are open to all families interested in joining our wonderful community.
