The Time 100 fascinates me every year. It's a picture in time of 100 people who truly influenced our world and in some way affected the waywe lived.
I like everything about this list from the inspiring categories: heroes, thinkers, leaders, artists to its International reach.
But also because they are not all famous. Of course, you'll see the obvious Oprah who made the cut ever since Time's 100 list started seven years ago. And the ubiquitous Lady Gaga who deserves the title just for showing up wearing a sparkle-shooting bra.
But others are perfectly unknown and their presence is just a tribute that the American Dream is still alive: everything is possible,anyone can achieve something!
Did you know about Chen Shu-chu, a modest street vegetable seller from Taiwan who has donate $320,000 to various causes while supporting her 3 children.
And Karls Paul-Noel, a 53 year old firefighter from Miami who went to Haiti the dayfollowing the earthquake and saved the lives of 8 people and 4 children.
You can thank Radhika Jones, the Time 100 issue Editor and the gorgeous brunette from in the abovevideo. She is the one we have to thank for making this list such a funread. Because, she is in charge of finding the person to best describethe list maker's achievements, and sharing how they were influenced bythem. So it's not just 100 names, it's Ang Lee, Cindy Lauper and AliceWaters talking about 100 people who influenced them.
And I have personally to thank her for putting on my radar that cute French guy Tristan Lecomte, Founder of Alter Eco challenging the economic model by establishing a profitable company. He just made MY own list of Gorgeous Green Gurus alongside David de Rothschild !
