FIAF is thrilled to invite French fashion designer agnès b. to share some of the films that have most influenced her life and career as a designer, photographer, and, more recently, as a fashion film producer and director. Cinema plays an important role in her world, and has a direct impact on her design work.

This series runs from February 7 through 28.

Selected News

A laureate of History Makers is French : Apocalypse Hitler by Clarke Costelle & Cie, won the award for Best Use of Archive in a History Production.

A French co-production, Found Memories by Julia Murat is one of the seven official selections for the 2012 New Directors/ New Films Festival, organized by The Film Society of Lincoln Center and The Museum of Modern Art.

Last week, The Artist won the Producers Guild of America award and was nominated for 10 Oscars.
The Artist also took the top prize at the Directors Guild of America Awards last Saturday and garnered a day later at the Screen Actors Guild Awards lead actor honors for Jean Dujardin.

A Cat in Paris by Jean-Loup Felicioli and Alain Gagnol was also nominated at the Oscars for best Animated Feature Film.
